Dragonfly Q&A

4.8.6 Colored Backgrounds?

0 like 0 dislike
This section in the book on page 116 says to modify the call to clear() in drawCh() to pass in window_background_color.

However, clear() is never called in drawCh() as it is defined on page 111.

Is this left over from the old version of Dragonfly, or am I doing something wrong?

You are right - the mention of drawCh() is a mistake since that method does not call clear().  It should say swapBuffers() instead.  Thanks for catching this.

Note, too, that this section is optional in terms of project 2b.
