Dragonfly Q&A

From Manager to LogManager/GameManager shutDown() changes types in book

So the book has shutDown being a type int in Manager and in Log/Game Manager it has shutDown as a type void, my compiler doesn't like this and I was wondering if I'm doing somethign wrong or if there was a typo. I already asked Chai and he said he would get back to me but he hasn't yet so I thought to directly post the question on the forum.

The return type for <code>shutDown()</code> needs to be the same for both Manager and LogManager/GameManager - and it should be <code>void</code>. So, I'm guessing the book has a typo (sorry) ... however, looking at the Listings, it looks like it is always defined with the same return type (<code>void</code>). Can you tell me where it is defined as <code>int</code>?
